Having been a serious footballer and athlete for many years, I was inflexible and specifically suffered from tight hamstrings. I asked Smitha to take me on for weekly one-to-one yoga classes, which may not seem that usual until you know that Smitha was taking on a 68 year old that had a hemorrhagic stroke 3 years earlier that left me with real problems with balance, strength and suppleness all down one side of my body.
Smitha started off well within my capabilities and gradually increased the difficulties when I was ready. Her patience is paying off, because I can now do exercises that were impossible for me a few months ago.
I thoroughly recommend Smitha as a teacher of yoga, whatever your starting level
